The Hosts
As head chef and master pâtissier, Michl crafts delicious dishes with heart—from freshly baked bread to elegant dinners, always with a creative, personal touch.

Owner Astrid is a trained sommelier with extensive knowledge of wine. She is Michl’s wife, and together they passionately run Hotel Royal.

Decorating is my passion! I love filling the house with beautiful flowers and having a friendly chat with our guests. My favourite place is our garden, where I lovingly take care of all our plants.

Father Bernhard loves tinkering and fixing things – he’s the behind-the-scenes handyman. If something breaks, you can count on him to make it work again.
