You can reach the ski resort in Sesto/Sexten by simply stepping outside our hotel in Sesto; cross the street and you find yourself right at Bruggerleite lift, which takes you to the ski resort Sesto/Sexten. The ski resort Sesto/Sexten is part of the ski resort Three Peaks Dolomites, which offers countless highlights for winter sports fans. Here you find 115 perfectly prepared slope kilometres, which are ideal for all levels of difficulty.

The ski resorts Sesto/Sexten and Three Peaks Dolomites

The ski resort Three Peaks Dolomites is a connection of several ski areas or lifts. One of them is the ski area in Sesto/Sexten, which is easily reachable from our ski hotel in the Dolomites. The lift pass of the ski resort Three Peaks Dolomites allows you to use the following lifts:

  • Ski area Elmo/Helm-Orto del Toro/Stiergarten-Croda Rossa/Rotwand
  • Ski area Baranci/Haunold
  • Lift at Monte Croce/Kreuzberg
  • Lift Waldheim in Sesto/Sexten
  • Ski area Comelico
  • Lifts in Braies/Prags
  • Lifts in the Ski Centre Rienza/Rienz Dobbiaco/Toblach

Ski connection Elmo/Helm-Croda Rossa/Rotwand

Thanks to the ski connection Elmo/Helm-Croda Rossa/Rotwand, the ski resort Three Peaks Dolomites offers two new slopes: Three Peaks and Orto del Toro/Stiergarten.

Three Peaks slope:

  • 2,355 metres total length
  • 38 metres avarage width
  • 28% inclination

Orto del Toro/Stiergarten slope:

  • 1,354 metres total length
  • 36 metres avarage width
  • 27% inclination

The gondola car “Three Peaks”, with the valley station only a few metres from the already existing “Signaue” cable car, offers space for eight persons and brings you from 1,437 to 2,092 metres altitude.
The eight-seater gondola car “Orto del Toro/Stiergarten” covers an altitude difference of 424 metres and is located directly on the slope of Sesto/Sexten-Elmo/Helm. 

The smaller ski areas in the Dolomites

The ski area Three Peaks Dolomites offers several smaller ski areas and lifts in and around Sesto/Sexten:

  • Waldheim is ideal for your first attempts in the snow.
  • In Braies/Prags, on the north side of Picco di Vallandro/Dürrenstein, you find a small ski area, which is perfect for families and beginners.
  • Also Dobbiaco/Toblach offers skiing possibilities; here you find three lifts as well as a giant Airbag, which is a meeting point for freestylers and a popular training spot for the world’s best ski racers.
  • In San Candido/Innichen you find Mt. Baranci/Haunold; the four-seater lift starts right in the centre of the village. Here you find five lifts, 23 slope kilometres and four slopes. Small piece of advice: the slope is lit on Tuesdays and Fridays, offering ideal conditions for night skiing.
  • Another ski resort in Sesto/Sexten not to be missed is Passo Monte Croce/Kreuzbergpass. One of the slopes is named after one of the world’s best ski racers, Marc Girardelli.

Snowparks near the Three Peaks

The ski resort Sesto/Sexten and Three Peaks Dolomites offers three different snow parks with lots of fun challenges for the cool kids and adrenalin junkies:

  • Snow park Three Peaks-Elmo/Helm:
  • For kids: 3 tables, whoop line and other features for learners
  • For pros: 8 tables on 450 metres, a kicker, a jib feature, a wave T-box, a rainbow T-box and a long straight box
  • Kids ski cross track at Baranci/Haunold:
  • 6 curves, 12 waves and 4 kickers
  • Shaka snow park in the Rienza/Rienz Ski Centre in Dobbiaco/Toblach:
  • 200 m long, new Big Airbag with kicker at a height of 2.5 metres, 1 medium-size kicker at a height of 1.50 metres and 1 easy kicker at a height of 0.5 metres
