The wildlife park in Carbonin Vecchia/Altschluderbach in Dobbiaco/Toblach is an insiders‘ tip for a family excursion in Alta Val Pusteria. Here, in this fascinating natural world you find many different animals, which are native to the Alps. The wildlife park extends over eleven hectares and features deer, lynx, wild pigs, snowy owls, ducks, sheep, ponies, donkeys, goats and other animals. The wildlife park is also home to the little cottage where Gustav Mahler used to compose some of his songs, such as Symphony No. 9 and The Song of the Earth.
